POSITION OVERVIEW
Harbor Health is looking for an experienced Site Manager to become a member of our team at the Round Rock location! Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX area utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. The Clinic Site Managers are responsible for overseeing all administrative and business aspects of the practice, aligning with the Regional Manager and Head of Clinical Operations.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Top notch practice management
- Maximize clinic capacity and financial performance by analyzing and recommending changes in workflow processes or procedures while ensuring clinic flow, quality, site productivity, and patient and staff satisfaction.
- General clinic operating requirements:
- Monitor and maintain office supply and administrative equipment inventories.
- Ensure clinic(s) is open and appropriately staffed during regularly scheduled hours and special events and that the clinic site is available, operational, safe, and clean.
- Organize patient records using electronic health records keeping
Clinic Leadership
- Interview, hire, and supervise staff in accordance with personnel policies and procedures including orientation and training, providing career development advice.
- Ensure positive collaboration between clinic unit teams and promote excellent customer service by all levels of the staff.
- Lead onboarding of new providers and clinical support staff; communicating to site team members, and preparing orientation schedule if needed.
- Coordinating regular staff meetings and performance reviews
Customer Service Excellence
- Implement excellence in service applying AIDET principles and achieving optimal clinical care outcomes, utilizing efficient resource utilization.
- Positively interact with Harbor members and patients, addressing their concerns and questions.
Other duties as assigned
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful Site Managers will have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6 years of experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving defined service standards
- Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a dynamic environment without direct supervision
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software; experience with Athena and Google Workspace a plus
- Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
- Financial and accounting skills along with in-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices and standards
- Highly organized and with experience in time management skills for themselves and their team
- Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry
- Experience with medical terminology, health care management, human resources, accounting, health care law and ethics is a plus.
Additional Skills & Experiences Preferred include:
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Physician Practice Manager or Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist.
Physical Requirements of the role include:
- Travel and work at other office and clinic locations as necessary
