POSITION OVERVIEW

The VP of Growth will lead Harbor Health's sales strategy and execution across Individual & Family Plans (IFP) and Group Benefits products. This executive role will build and develop a high-performing sales team while establishing strategic partnerships to drive membership growth in the Austin market.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Harbor Health's mission of transforming healthcare through innovative payvider solutions
  • Build, mentor, and lead specialized sales teams across IFP and Group Benefits and specialized broker manager team for Medicare Advantage segment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including brokers, employers, and community partners
  • Set and achieve aggressive growth targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Create sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to maximize market penetration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless member experience and product delivery
 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of progressive healthcare sales leadership experience, with specific expertise in IFP or Group Benefit products
  • Experience in MA a plus
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams in startup or high-growth environments
  • Deep understanding of insurance underwriting
  • Strong network within the Austin healthcare market preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Excellence in strategic planning, team development, and stakeholder management
