POSITION SUMMARY
At Harbor Health, we're transforming healthcare in Austin through collaboration and innovation. We're seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and support our mission. This role is crucial in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our HR function and contributing to our people-first culture. We're looking for a key contributor who can efficiently manage HR processes while providing exceptional service to our clinicians and teammates.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
Manage employee data in HRIS systems with accuracy and timeliness
Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll with precision
Administer employee benefits programs and support annual enrollment processes
Manage leave of absence requests and track employee eligibility
Respond to employee inquiries and provide first-line HR support
Maintain confidential HR files and records in compliance with regulations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, and aptitude for learning new technologies
Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, growing organization

Preferred

Experience in the healthcare industry
PHR certification or progress towards certification
Experience with high-growth startups or rapidly scaling organizations
